nothing irritates me more than people throwing the word love around.
lately, i’ve been hearing people tell one another they love eachother when they clearly don’t know the meaning of love. yeah, you guys are going out or whatever… yeah, you guys lust for eachother and probably want to touch eachother… but that doesn’t mean you love the person. some people are getting into relationships and saying they love eachother the next day. maybe sometimes the people do love eachother, but c’mon, give it time. it’s like the word love has become the substitute for “this person is my boyfriend/girlfriend and i’m supposed to love them therefore i will say i do.” no. just no.i can’t tell you the meaning of love, because then i’d be trying to look like a smart-alick that thinks they know everything. all i can say is, love may be the butterflies in your tummy. love may be the smile that instantly stains your face when you hear that persons name. or may be love can be the blurred world behind that person when they’re walking toward you in the hallway. idk. may be.
understand the meaning of love before you decide to say you love someone. because sometimes, when you don’t love the person and you say you do… things can go terribly wrong.

It is now the 26th.
